Bio
Greetings, my name is Tom Morton, and I am the Chief Flight Instructor for Batton Enterprises Inc.  I would like to take a minute to give you a brief biography of my aviation career.

I spent 20 years in the United States Air Force where I obtained my FAA Airframe and Power Plant mechanic and Flight Engineer certificates.  During my career I have accumulated more than 5000 hours total time in a variety of single engine and multi-engine aircraft to include jet aircraft.  I obtained an Associates degree in Professional Aeronautics at the Air Force Community College.

After retiring from the Air Force I flew for the airlines, ATA, as a professional Flight Engineer until 9-11 when I was furloughed due to airline downsizing.  After the layoff I earned my private pilot certificates to include ATP, ME, CFI, CFII, and Ground Instructor.  I have been a flight instructor since 2003, and enjoy working with students and pilots for both training and recurrent training.
